Town Planters Society puts on the Festival of Trees. 

This event is located in City of Freeport Chambers. 

Local individuals and business register for a spot to place an artifical Christmas tree and decorate to their choosing.  They are displayed throughout Monday following Thanksgiving and runs til end of evening after the City Christmas Parade and performance. Voting takes place and the tree with the most votes wins recognition and announced at the end of the Christmas Program.
